THE STUDENT PROTESTS: A MIXED SIGNAL

We publish a new article from our friends from Internationalist Perspective who accepted the invitation to the Action Week.

The student protests are a mixed signal. On the one hand, it is heartening that students in more than 160 colleges and universities in the US are protesting the war in Gaza, and do so with passion and courage. Solidarita vítězí, Make Tattoo Not War proběhne!

Přestože tým organizují Akční týden musí opakovaně čelit provokacím a sabotování našich protiválečných aktivity, má to i pozitivní stránku. Útoky, které proti nám vedou naši odpůrci zároveň dávají impulz pro solidarní gesta od lidí, kteří jsou našim aktivitám nakloněni. Někteří se probouzejí z hibernují fáze a opětovně se aktivizují. Někteří se rozhodují pro aktivní participaci na Akčním týdnu. Někteří nám poskytují prostor jako náhradu za ten, který se nám snaží jinde brát stoupenci válečné propagandy. S radostí tedy oznamujeme, že benefiční tetovací dýchánek Make Tattoo Not War nakonec přecejen prohěhne a to v libeňském baru Zahrada na adrese: V Zahradách 528/13. Akce je veřejná. Zazvoňte a vstupte. Kromě tetování se můžete účastnit také přednášky a diskuze na téma “Kapitalistický mír je pokračováním války a přípravou na její eskalaci.“  Na místě bude také veganské občerstvení. Začínáme ve středu 22. 5. od 17:00.

Kommuniqué Nr. 1

Am 16. März 2024 fand in Deutschland auf die Einladung der Initiative „Zimmerwald-Komitee“ ein hybrides Treffen von antinationalen, klassenkämpferischen und den Krieg ablehnenden Gruppen statt. Beteiligt waren Aktivisten aus Deutschland, Österreich, Belgien und Russland. Teilnehmende Gruppen waren: Internationale Kommunistische Strömung (IKS), Konföderation der Revolutionären Anarchosyndikalisten (KRAS), Internationalist Voice, Einzelpersonen aus dem Umfeld der Zeitschrift „GegenStandpunkt“ und der Gruppe “Blauer Montag“. Benefiční tetovací dýchánek Make Tattoo Not War asi neproběhne. Je to výsledek aktivní intervence členstva Anarchistické federace (AF) a jeho tlaku na kolektiv Safe space, který nám pro akci původně přislíbil prostor a později nám tuto možnost odebral.

Je nám líto, že akce pomáhající lidem postiženým válkou musí čelit intrikánství lidí, kteří si říkají anarchisté (myšleno AF), ale praktikují politiku sociální demokracie. Za to jaké pozice hájí jim je možná vděčná (nejen) ukrajinská buržoazie a hlavouni z NATO, ale nikoli tým Akčního týdne. Bližší informace k tomuto incidentu zveřejníme později.

The Make Tattoo Not War fundraiser for war refugees will probably not take place. This is the result of the active intervention of the membership of the Anarchist Federation (AF) and its pressure on the Safe Space collective, which initially promised us a space for the event and later took this opportunity away.
We regret that an action to help people affected by the war has to face the intrigue of people who call themselves anarchists (thinking of the AF) but practice the politics of social democracy. The Ukrainian bourgeoisie and NATO officers may be grateful for the positions they defend, but not the Action Week team. We will publish more information on this incident later.

KRAS-IWA: Aan de internationalistische anti-oorlogsconferentie in Praag

Wij van de KRAS-IWA, als erfgenamen van de anarchistische antimilitaristische traditie van het Manifest van 1915, verwelkomen de deelnemers aan de internationale conferentie die bijeengekomen zijn om zich uit te spreken tegen kapitalistische oorlog en kapitalistische zogenaamde “vrede” en om de zogenaamde linksen en pseudo-anarchisten die partij kiezen in de kapitalistische oorlogen aan de kaak te stellen. We hopen dat dit forum een belangrijke stap zal zijn in het tot stand brengen van praktische interactie van onderaf en over alle organisatorische grenzen heen tussen alle echte anti-oorlogs- en antimilitaristische sociaal-revolutionaire krachten.
Helaas geven de situatie in dit land [Rusland] en de moeilijke communicatie met het buitenland ons niet de mogelijkheid om direct deel te nemen aan de conferentie. Maar in de geest staan we achter jullie. We sturen jullie een verklaring van ons standpunt over de oorlogskwestie en vragen jullie om de deelnemers aan de conferentie hiervan op de hoogte te stellen.

KRAS-IWA A LA CONFERENCIA INTERNACIONALISTA CONTRA LA GUERRA EN PRAGA

Queridos camaradas

En el KRAS-AIT, como herederos de la tradición anarquista antimilitarista del Manifiesto de 1915, damos la bienvenida a los participantes en la conferencia internacional que se han reunido para pronunciarse contra la guerra capitalista y la llamada «paz» capitalista y para denunciar a los supuestos izquierdistas y pseudoanarquistas que toman partido en las guerras capitalistas. Esperamos que este foro sea un paso importante en el establecimiento de una interacción práctica desde abajo y a través de todas las fronteras organizativas entre todas las auténticas fuerzas socialrevolucionarias antibelicistas y antimilitaristas.

Desgraciadamente, la situación en este país y la dificultad de comunicación con la Europa extranjera no nos dan la oportunidad de participar directamente en la conferencia. Pero en espíritu estamos con ustedes. Le enviamos una declaración de nuestra posición sobre la cuestión de la guerra y le pedimos que la familiarice con los participantes en la conferencia.

KRAS-AIT: Adresse à la conférence internationaliste anti-guerre de Prague

Chers camarades!

En tant qu’héritiers de la tradition anarchiste antimilitariste du Manifeste de 1915, nous, membres de la KRAS-AIT, souhaitons la bienvenue aux participants à la conférence internationale, qui vont se réunir pour s’élever contre la guerre capitaliste et la soi-disant « paix » capitaliste et pour dénoncer les soi-disant gauchistes et pseudo-anarchistes qui prennent parti dans les guerres capitalistes. Nous espérons que ce forum constituera une étape importante dans l’établissement d’une interaction pratique d’en bas et au-delà de toutes les frontières organisationnelles entre toutes les forces révolutionnaires sociales authentiquement anti-guerre et antimilitaristes.

Malheureusement, la situation en Russie et les difficultés de communication avec l’extérieur ne nous donnent pas la possibilité de participer directement à la conférence. Mais nous sommes de tout cœur avec vous. Nous vous envoyons une déclaration de notre position sur la question de la guerre et vous demandons de la faire connaître aux participants à la conférence.

KRAS-IWA: TO THE INTERNATIONALIST ANTI-WAR CONFERENCE IN PRAGUE

Dear comrades!

We in the KRAS-IWA, as heirs to the anarchist anti-militarist tradition of the 1915 Manifesto, welcome participants in the international conference who have gathered to speak out against capitalist war and capitalist so-called “peace” and to denounce the supposed leftists and pseudo-anarchists who take sides in the capitalist wars. We hope that this forum will be an important step in establishing practical interaction from below and across all organizational boundaries between all genuine anti-war and anti-militarist social revolutionary forces.

Unfortunately, the situation in this country and the difficulty of communication with foreign Europe do not give us the opportunity to directly participate in the conference. But in spirit we are with you. We are sending you a statement of our position on the issue of war and ask you to familiarize the conference participants with it.
